Statement pieces are great for casual or formal wear….either way, they will create an impact. Remember to balance, and avoid bold earrings and rings if you are wearing a statement necklace.
Pendants are making a comeback and can be worn casually on a thong or threaded on a gold or silver chain for dressy occasions. Remember, if you have a large bust, don’t let the pendant sit on your cleavage! Shorter pendants look good with round necklines and strapless tops.
In general, longer necklaces draw the eye down and lengthen the body, making you look slimmer and taller.
Multiple strands of chain necklaces are quite trendy now and have a youthful edge. For wide necks and busts, fine layering can soften the neckline …but avoid large earrings that will look very odd with this look.
